Create Personalized Insurance Plans for Your Employees
Stage I: Strategic Planning and Direction
RBG will work closely with your firm to determine your goals, expectations, and budgetary requirements.
RBG tailors its service for each client organization, assisting them in moving forward at a pace acceptable to their unique corporate culture. The process starts with a comprehensive review of your current offerings and an understanding of your future goals and objectives.
The goal of this stage is to develop a solid strategic plan outlining a multi-year roadmap for success.
The Three Core Principles of RBG;
• Maximum value for your benefit dollars
• Minimize your day-to-day involvement with carriers
• Solutions for your benefit needs
Stage II: Program Evaluation
RBG will analyze your current programs from both a financial and overall satisfaction level. Using our proprietary tool kit, we will evaluate employee satisfaction, general utilization, and the overall cost-effectiveness of your current offering against your total benefits budget.
This analysis will allow us to determine which programs should be more thoroughly reviewed and also allow us to identify any gaps in your current offerings. We will also review and analyze your current contribution structures and determine if the appropriate funding mechanisms are in place.
From financial objectives to employee perceptions, we want to understand and be able to measure every aspect of your business where benefits are involved.
Stage III: Market Evaluation and Recommendations
With results from the evaluation stage and your long-term strategy as a guiding road map, we are now ready to enter the market to identify the potential partners to meet your overall objectives and performance targets.
We will utilize our years of local and national market experience, coupled with an in-depth underwriting analyses and due diligence process, to identify and ultimately negotiate the best possible arrangements on your behalf.
This analysis will consider funding arrangements, alternate benefit designs, savings accounts, and other potentially innovative solutions. Our recommendations will incorporate your employee needs and your operational budget.
Stage IV: Implementation/Employee Communications
Once the negotiations are complete and the appropriate partner(s) have been selected, RBG will be responsible and accountable for a smooth implementation and transition.
Here is where our years of experience in change management and implementation come into play—RBG will coordinate and facilitate a simplified means of explaining your benefits programs so your employees are empowered to make educated decisions.
We will assist you in employee communications and enrollment meetings, and make sure that all of your programs are off to a smooth start and that claims and customer service are being handled according to your satisfaction.
Stage V: Ongoing Management
RBG is prepared to support your corporate needs throughout the years and we stand prepared to take action.
Ideally, we would like to proactively meet on a regular basis to provide a comprehensive review and update on the performance of your benefit programs—every time we meet we will be armed with meaningful information and recommendations.
RBG will create a documented service plan and timeline to ensure you are always kept apprised of the cost and quality of your offerings. If during the plan year we determine a particular program requires an additional level of review, RBG will proactively complete the evaluation to develop a plan to correct deficiencies.
Whether it’s a plan to review new products or improve the design, cost, or service delivery of your programs, we will be there for you.

Concierge Services
Included by RBG as part of its standard offering to an employer at no cost.
Everyone can see the complexities of the benefits industry and the difficulty employees encounter in understanding their health plan offerings. RBG’s service model is designed to take this burden off of the employer’s staff to allow business management to concentrate on running their business.
RBG’s Concierge Service makes employees more productive by giving them a resource to research medical issues and resolve claim/administrative issues. The service saves time, eliminates concerns regarding HIPAA privacy issues, and simply makes for more efficient use of available resources.
A standard part of RBG’s service offering to our clients is our unique Concierge Service. This offering has no additional charge to the employer and gives employees and their family access via a toll-free number to an objective-third party trained professional who understands the intricacies of the health care system and how to navigate it.
This service is available during regular business hours and after-hours/weekends for emergency issues.
Concierge Service is a health advocacy and assistance service. It is designed to provide an accessible and reliable solution to help employees, their families and even their extended families navigate the healthcare system.
This service provides a liaison to employees on behalf of their interaction with health care providers, insurance plans, and other community resources.
This service is staffed by nurses and highly trained benefits staff that understand the “ins and outs” of the healthcare and insurance worlds. SBG and its partners know how to get things done, and how to make healthcare work—eliminating hassles and frustrations.
It is simple and easy to get help. All members need to do is call and the concierge service does the rest.
Services Included as Part of the Program
Benefits Assistance
Dealing with claims denials, understanding pharmacy copays, healthcare bills, and related administrative and clinical issues is often not a simple task. It is time-consuming and is most likely being managed by employees during business hours.
Furthermore, it can be costly and extremely frustrating if members are unfamiliar with how to navigate the healthcare and insurance systems. The Concierge Service that SBG offers will help sort out and solve these complex issues and allow the employee to stay focused on work.
Some examples of the types of services included are as follows:
- Help members understand their pharmacy benefits and navigate through the system of generic vs. brand vs. non-formulary drugs to understand the costs involved.
- Correcting problems where the provider had billed the member incorrectly.
- Correcting charges incorrectly applied to a member’s deductible.
- Researching a member’s outstanding out-of-pocket responsibilities.
- Negotiating fees with healthcare providers to lower a member’s out-of-pocket expenses.
Our Concierge Service also provides advice or assistance to members when they need to file a complaint or grievance with their insurer. This program offers an employer the confidence that there is a knowledgeable advocate in their employee’s corner at all times.
Care Management
In navigating the healthcare system, members often need help coordinating care among physicians and medical institutions in various ways.
This service will help in the following manner:
- Help members understand tests, treatments, and medications recommended or prescribed by their physician.
- Assisting members through complex medical conditions.
- Facilitating the transfer of medical records, x-rays, and lab results prior to a scheduled appointment with a new physician.
- Facilitating a review of test results with another physician for confirmation of a diagnosis.
- Coordinating care for members with complicated medical issues.
This service provides expert assistance and support to make sure that when it comes to the healthcare needs of your valued employees they will have someone watching out for their interests.
Expert Providers
Many times people need to seek expert counsel on a range of healthcare needs. This part of the program will identify top medical institutions and providers throughout the country to assist members in meeting their complex medical needs.
Further, the service will help with scheduling appointments and coordinating transportation and lodging if required.
Physician Identifier
For more routine needs, the physician locator will help employees identify physicians and institutions anywhere in the country based on the criteria the member deems important. This service is especially valuable for individuals who need new physicians, travel often, or are relocating to a new community.
This service will even help members learn how to navigate their carrier’s website to avoid the often frustrating member experience.
Health Care Assistance
Whether it’s a complex or everyday need, this Care Assistance service will expertly assist your employees in finding the right products and services for your health needs.
For example, a member may need help finding home care support for an elderly parent—the care quest service will provide this support. Whatever the need, this service will support your employee and their family. The concierge will help arrange services even if they are not covered by your insurance company but are needed by the patient.
